TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: June 2026
1. What this site is
FS42 Catalog Tracker (“the Service”) is a catalog and collection-management tool for virtual television systems built with TV simulator software. The Service stores metadata only — titles, lineups, schedules, and statistics. No video, audio, or other media files are hosted, stored, or distributed by the Service.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and what is posted from it. You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. Accounts may be suspended or removed at the operator's discretion, including for violations of these terms.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you post (system descriptions, comments, images, schedules). By posting, you grant the Service a non-exclusive license to display that content to other users as part of operating the site. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harassing.
4. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, access other users' accounts, scrape at abusive rates, or use the Service to facilitate copyright infringement. The Service catalogs what exists in personal collections; it does not provide, link to, or endorse any means of obtaining media.
5. Moderation
Moderators and administrators may remove content, feature or unfeature systems, and suspend accounts to keep the community healthy. Moderation decisions are made in good faith and are final.
6. Third-party data
Show and movie metadata is provided by third-party services (TVmaze, TMDb) under their respective terms. Network names and trademarks belong to their owners; their use here is descriptive and implies no affiliation.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The operator is not liable for data loss, downtime, or any damages arising from use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated; continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site.
This document is a general template and not legal advice. If the Service grows beyond a hobby community, consider having these terms reviewed by a lawyer.
